Cristiana Miranda is a visual artist living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She works with cinema and photography, transforming film in aesthetic matter.
She develop herself the 16mm color negatives, tuning in the artisanal and unexpected aspects of the photographic process. Her poetry leaves visible the sensuality of the moving image. Her films have been screened in many International Festivals around the world, including Europe, America and Australia. For the second time she is participating in Festival Signes de Nuit.
Actually she completes her activities working with cinema preservation in Cinemateca do Museu de Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro and teaching photography at Universidade Estácio de Sá.

Art and film critic, curator and journalist, Fernando grew up in Paraguay and Spain and currently lives in Cologne, Germany.
Author of exhibitions and film programs, his cultural labour promotes correspondances between Latin America and Europe. Actually carrying projects for Filmtape Köln Verein, he prepares a historical and critical edition on Paraguayan filmography and a Theater-Film Festival from Argentina.
He is member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA).

After studies in Philosophy and Management Science, a short career in urban planning André Schreuders (1967) works since 2001 as a film director, scriptwriter, cameraman and editor of poetic and philosophical documentary and fiction films.
His films are very different in style and subject, but they all come from the same vision on art and on life: The surprise about reality as a starting point, the poetic view on reality as a way of understanding and the imperfection as highest grade of perfection in art and life.
His latest short film Licht (2010) has been selected at the Director’s Fortnight in Cannes. His short film essay Manifesto for a Free Fall (2009) was awarded in Tirana and Neubrandenburg. His documentary From the Heart of Odessa (2007) was screened on many international film festivals and broadcasted on several TV-stations.
