Séminaire project: Introduction et débat
Since 1995 Steinar Bryn has been the head of the informal Nansen Dialog Network with ten dialog offices in Western Balkan. He has conducted more than 300 dialog seminars with participants from Croatia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Makedonia.
Steinar Bryn is currently senior adviser at Nansen Center for Peace and Dialog. He is currently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for the fourth year in a row, particularly for his work in the Western Balkans that has focused on integrated schooling, multiethnic political coalitions and reintegration of refugees in their home communities. |

En 1999, les forces militaires serbes et la guérilla albanaise s'affrontaient au Kosovo. Serbes et albanais vivaient séparément. Alors que leur pays sombrait dans la guerre, un groupe de courageux étudiant décidèrent de rencontrer leurs opposants pour la première fois. Le réalisateur Jon Haukeland était présent, et la rencontre donna naissance au documentaire Before The Bombs (1999). Deux semaines après la réunion, Les bombardements NATO commencèrent, la guerre éclata et les étudiants n'eurent plus de nouvelles les des autres - jusqu'à maintenant.

Les documentaires (expérimentaux) seront évalués par un jury international ; ces films venant du monde entier parlent d’une manière inédite de tous les aspects sensibles et inquiétants du réel ; ils représentent souvent la réalité de manière ambivalente, énigmatique en évitant des clichés et les conclusions trop simples dans un monde complexe.
