Dreznica est l’endroit où la neige et la mer se touchent, où les jours sont remplis d’étoiles et les nuits de soleil. Cet endroit n’est perceptible que par les non-voyants. Un voyage lyrique à travers des images et des impressions qui se basent sur les souvenirs et les rêves de personnes aveugles. Visualisé par des séquences en super 8 datant des années soixante-dix.d´Anna Azevedo.

Dreznica is the place where snow and sea touch, where days are filled with stars and nights with sun. This place is only visible by the blind ; a lyrical voyage through images and impressions based on memories and dreams of blind people, made with Super 8 found footage dating from the seventies.

Observation dépourvue de sentimentalité du quotidien tout à fait normal d’une famille totalement hors-normes. La mère cuisine, le père distribue des journaux et le fils lit le journal avec une loupe qu’il tient avec ses pieds.

An observation without sentimen-tality of the everyday life of a very unusual family. The mother cooks, the father distributes the newspaper, the son reads it with the help of a magnifying glass that he holds with his foot.

Au bord de la mer, à la plage, deux personnes vivent des situations extrêmes. Une élégante mère Occidentale demande à un garçon Gitan de veiller sur son enfant de quatre ans ; un mari et père combat l’ennui en flirtant avec cette femme, en lui apprenant à nager. Mais l’histoire prend un cours différent lorsque la belle femme disparaît soudainement dans les vagues…

At the seaside, on the beach, two people experience extreme situations. A beautiful Western mother asks a gypsy boy to look after her 4 year-old baby; a husband and father fights ennui by flirting with the same beautiful foreigner while teaching her how to swim. Butt he story takes a different course when the beautiful mother disappears in the waves...

Les observations météorologiques de Goethe du 11 septembre 1819 arrivent sur les nuages du présent en provenance d’un hors-champ dubitatif, dissocié, ambivalent. Dans la menace constante de la guerre globale la parole s’est comme retirée et les “ images-temps ”, envahissantes et inéluctables, se couvrent de sons dilatés et abrasifs.

Goethe’s meteorological observations from September 11, 1819 descend on the clouds of the present day from an ambivalent outside, an off-screen that is dissociated and plagued by doubt. Under the constant threat of global war, the word has withdrawn into itself and the images-temps become an opaque, ineluctable overcast, clouded by abrasive, endlessly echoing sounds.
