A Bombay, la rue est la maison de ses habitants. Ceux qui y
restent, ceux qui, bien qu’ assiégés sont parvenus
à y échapper, ceux qui y retournent continuellement.
Des séquences d’images en laps de temps avec des sons
de la rue, du quotidien constituent l’aspect le plus révélateur:
la migration.
In Bombay, the street is home to ist inhabitants. Those who remain
stationed, those who despite besieged were able to run away, those
who keep continually coming back. Sequences of pictures in time
lapse, together with street sounds of the daily life and the most
revealing aspect: the migration.

Il existe une
croyance en Asie centrale selon laquelle manger les viscères
de son animal totémique accroît son pouvoir. Ce film
donne à voir cette croyance, illustrée par les actes
d’un groupe de Kazakhs citadines qui se partagent une tête
de mouton à manger. Le mal de tête engendré
provoque des transformations…
There is a belief in Central Asiat hat eating the internal organs
of one’s totemic animal will increase a corresponding power
within oneself. This belief is reflected in this movie, illustrated
in the actions of a group of urbanite Kazakh girls who eat and feed
one another the sheep’s head. The caused headache provkes transformations...
