Mara has been working as a stationer for almost 20 years, not far from the place where I work. She sells pencils and notebooks to the neighbourhood kids, but in the last few years the large-scale retail trade has forced small traders to close down because of their lack of competitiveness. However, Mara has been lucky: she still earns her living by selling plastic envelops. 6x9 is the most requested size... even Mara knows what they are for.
