9th International Festival Signes de Nuit
Octobre 5th - 16th 20

A particular festival : a festival focused on a
"Cinema different"

The INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL SIGNES DE NUIT (FISDN) started its activities in 2003 in Paris. In 2011 the FISDN will present in its 9th edition about 200 films coming from around 50 countries. It can be considered as on of the largest festivals of "difference work" and diversity of cinematographic and audio visual creation, not only in Europe, but also concering the five continents.

Attentiv for innovations, the FISDN is featuring a "Cinéma différent" which is interrogating its time. It's a free cultural space, open for experimentation an for a critical view. In the actual state of globalisation, the festival wants to bring forward new views from all over the world.

For this reason the FISDN isn't limited on Paris and is engaged in meetings with the international public. Up to now the festival has realized screenings in 28 countries: Algeria, Australie, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Germany, Hongary, Italy, Indonasia, Japon, Lebanon, Turkey, Peru, Slovenia, Tunesia, Russia, United States et al..

The FISDN is an unnusual festival, showings films, which present deranging and perturbating observations, new, essencial and sublim visions, astonishing flight lines, a cinema resisting against standarisation and full of joyful overpassings.
