Pier Paolo Pasolini plays the role of the director as conveyor of
human experience. The director is constantly watching, thinking,
feeling... all in hopes that the film, once it stands alone, will be
sufficient and whole. And on him is the burden of describing through
image and sound the human experience.

Northwestern Mexico: Pani and Paula do not want to close their
tortilleria and spend their spare time rescuing the town from ruins;
Miro and his parents dream of leaving but can’t; Yoya and Jaimito live
in fear but have everything they need.

An international jury overview the sections of short films coming from all over the world. We prefer documentaries which succeed in representing the complexity of reality and discover in a new way its sensible and perturbing aspects on the same time accentuating the ambivalent and enigmatic status of reality in avoiding sterotypes and simplifing conclusions.
