FRENCH PREMIERE

Saenjaroen, Tulapop

Thailand
2018 / 0:29:00

Kanya, a tour guide but also a hotel representative automated voice, leads a foreign guest, Alex, through Bangsaen, a beach town in the east of Thailand. Since Kanya’s presentation is overtly aestheticized and strictly regimented, Alex decides to explore the town by himself, fantasizing about getting out of the frame.

Ecuador, Deep Inside

WORLD PREMIERE

Lionel Retornaz

France
2018 / 0:28:00

2017. Somewhere in Ecuador. As the everyday begins to lose its substance, a discerning voice endeavours to describe the experience of the journey. The gaze becomes steeped in the passing landscapes, the tone remains cutting and distinctly ironic. A film very freely inspired by Ecuador, a book by Henri Michaux.
