Solidade publica (Public loneliness)

Realisation : Daniel Arag

Brésil / Brazil
2008 | DCP / DH | 0:16:00

People from the street are invited to take their place in a silent and small chamber, where they are confronted with a camera that projects thier face on a big public screen beside the cabin. The isolated person is hearing all the comments made by watchers passing in the streets.

Aragoã constructs a the strange ambiguity between intimacy and publicity. The isolated persons find themselves as victims of an analytical observation and forced to assume an exposition to the anonym crowd, whose remarks and even sometimes invectives are telling much about the shortcut of human relations today.

Realisation : Roberto Bellini

Brésil / Brazil
2008 | Beta SP | 0:15:00

"Invisible garden" deals with the nocturnal landscape of a suburban neightbonhood in the United States. In this spatial organization for public use a new world is imagined, in which a solidary figure executes the arduous task of watering this arid garden

Soldier's Voice (Voice of the Soldat)

Realisation : Sarah Vanagt

Belgium , Congo
2007 | DV | 0:30 :00

Sarah Vanagh uses the blackout as a right moment to ask a Congolese soldier about his traumatism concernig the past, and his expectations for the future. Her work is convincing thanks to the emphasis put on a single testimony, within a world of increasing namelessness.
